What is Rebel Rising?
Rebel Rising Recovery was born from lived experience.
Like many people seeking freedom from addiction, I began my journey in the rooms of 12-step recovery. That work is powerful. The principles of the program—and many of the tools I learned there—are still part of the life I live and the work I do today.
The steps weren’t the problem.
The problem was the culture I often experienced in the rooms.
Too often, sobriety seemed to be maintained through fear. The message felt like I had to stay broken in order to stay sober. That I could never fully trust my recovery. That I was always one step away from burning my life down again.
But the truth is, the Big Book teaches something different.
It teaches that WE GET TO RECOVER
And at a certain point in my journey, I realized I was ready to actually live that truth.
When I found the coaching frameworks that would become Rebel Rising, everything changed. I was able to release the identity of being permanently “sick” and step into a life rooted in self-respect, self-trust, and real healing.
Today, I’m Sober AF—not because I’m afraid of relapse, but because I genuinely love myself too much to ever go back.
Rebel Rising isn’t an alternative to 12-step recovery.
It’s an evolution of it.
It’s for people who want a recovery that is built on empowerment instead of fear. A recovery that allows you to step out of the identity of being broken and into the identity of being whole.
Whether you’re at the beginning of your sobriety journey and the rooms don’t quite feel like home…
Or you’ve been sober for years and, like I once did, feel deep down that there is a more hopeful and empowered path forward…
Rebel Rising is for you.
Because the truth is simple:
You don’t have to stay sick to stay well.
You get to heal your life.
